He was undergoing treatment at the Armed Police Force (APF) Hospital in Kathmandu and breathed his last on Wednesday night, said Madan Ratna Neupane, the former lawmaker&#8217;s son. Initially fallen ill due to coronavirus infection, Neupane&#8217;s health condition deteriorated and became serious after pneumonia infection in the lungs.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was admitted to the Birendra Police Hospital in Kathmandu on May 6 and was later shifted to the ICU at the APF Hospital. He was put on a ventilator after 10 days after his condition became serious. According to Madan, Neupane had tested negative to coronavirus infection in his latest test but he was found suffering from pneumonia. Hailing from Suwanauli, Chhedagad municipality-6 in Jajarkot district, Neupane was elected the member of the House of Representatives on the UML ticket from Jajarkot constituency no 2 in the general election held in 2056 BS.
